Superior Desulphurization
We use a proprietary iron oxide catalyst, in our H2S Reactor, that has a greater H2S holding capacity than activated carbon. This reduces the amount of media consumed, thereby lowering catalyst purchase, change-out, and disposal costs, which collectively reduces OPEX.
Our catalyst does not require excess air whereas activated carbon requires minimum 4x O2:H2S ratio to perform correctly. The result, 99pt5 guarantees O2 content in BioMethane will not exceed the sales specification. In contrast, activated carbon based systems more-often-than-not contain elevated O2 levels which are above the sales specification, which can be potentially explosive, especially under pressure.
